I have a question. I had a tooth extracted about 5 months ago, and now the area where the tooth was removed hurts. Something hard has formed there, and it’s painful. The dentist told me that it’s the healing of the jawbone. Is that possible?

Dear Sir, the wound can heal slowly in some cases, but you should not be experiencing strong pain anymore. Slow healing is not dangerous and doesn’t mean something is wrong with the wound; it is just how the tissue will fill the gap left after the tooth extraction.
Wisdom tooth extraction or repair
I have a problem with my lower right wisdom tooth, it’s coming in nicely! There is a cavity (which I can’t see in the mirror) but I can feel it with my tongue, and food gets stuck there when I eat, although I can easily remove it with a toothpick! When brushing my teeth and rinsing with cold water, I feel pain and tingling, sometimes I even hit the nerve with the toothpick! Is it better to repair it or extract it?

The pain extends toward the left eye, ear, cheek, and teeth, and to the jaw on the left side. Whenever I drink something cold, a sharp pain occurs. My tongue feels slightly numb. Eating is very difficult because the pain worsens at the slightest contact with food. I don’t take any medications or have any therapy.
