Chipping of the ceramic bridge
Hello, I have a metal-ceramic bridge in the upper jaw, and the ceramic has fallen on the two and three, but the bridge has not cracked, is it possible to repair it?
It is possible to repair the bridge with the material used for fillings. This is not a long-term solution, but it can serve you until it is time to change the brdige.
Pain after anesthesia
Hi, two days ago I received mandibular anesthesia, a filling was performed and medicine was placed on the 7 on the left side, today, two days after the procedure, when I speak, I feel tingling on the edge of my tongue on the left side, while when I squeeze my jaw against my jaw, I feel the most tingling on the tip of the tongue. Is it something temporary or is it necessary to visit the dentist again? Thank you in advance for your reply.
Sometimes such sensations occur after mandibular anesthesia, but it is nothing to worry you about. The discomfort should pass by itself.
Swelling after tooth extraction
I extracted the tooth on Thursday (the lower tooth is in question). During the extraction, things got complicated, so it had to be, as the dentist says, “surgically extracted”. There was no swelling on the first day, while there was pain after the duration of the anesthesia. Now it’s been 2 days since I have swelling, how can I reduce it as soon as possible? (it is very important to me that the swelling goes away quickly, because of several things) I don’t have frequent pains, when I have them I drink caffeine and they go away, the only problem is the swelling. Thanks in advance for your reply!
Tooth replacement after extraction
I broke the top five while eating. The 3D scan showed that the root was also completely broken. The doctor recommended me to install an implant or a dental bridge.
I would like to know how long it takes from tooth extraction to dental bridge. As well as whether the other teeth in the jaw can be crooked/displaced during that period. Thank you
It takes 6 weeks to make a bridge and during that time the other teeth will not move.
Pain after tooth extraction
On Thursday, I had my upper sixth tooth extracted due to complications related to a granuloma and attempts to save the tooth (severe pain, fever, antibiotics). The wound was stitched. Since Saturday, I have experienced some pain, and it feels like the fifth and fourth teeth are bothering me. Is it possible that the granuloma has spread to these teeth, or is this pain simply normal until the wound heals? I am scheduled to have the stitches removed in 5 days. However, being far from a dentist, I am concerned that something might get complicated. I am still taking antibiotics.
It is possible that your adjacent teeth are experiencing discomfort due to the pressure transferred to them during the extraction. This sensation should gradually diminish each day.
A radiograph can be taken to check if the granuloma has spread in their direction.
Swelling after tooth extraction
I had my lower molar extracted four days ago. I still have a small swelling near the wound and pain in the sixth, fifth, and fourth teeth. How long will this last? I am taking antibiotics and ibuprofen as needed.
Coffee after tooth extraction
Yesterday at 2 p.m., I had my wisdom tooth extracted surgically… everything is fine… can I have coffee today?
Mouthguard
I am inquiring about mouthguards. I play handball and would like to protect my teeth during the game. Currently, I am using a mouthguard from the “Đak” store (semi-custom), but it significantly interferes with my speech, which is a major issue given my playing position.
I have browsed your Instagram profile and seen pictures of mouthguards. I would like to consult with you about the possibility of creating a smaller mouthguard that won’t fill the mouth as much and won’t interfere with speech.
Swelling above the tooth
I have significant problems with my teeth. I had a procedure on the upper second and third molars about two years ago. In the last few months, I have been experiencing pain around the second molar. There seems to be a recurring pimple-like bump that bursts and reappears. When I touch it with my finger from the outside near the nose, it hurts upon contact. Additionally, a large swelling has developed on the inner side around the broken fourth molar, which is solid and painful to touch.
Tooth extraction
If you wish to check whether the tooth was completely extracted, you can do so immediately.
Best regards.
